CONWAY, Ark. (January 14, 2014) – Hendrix College will host the 2014 Raspberry Pi Bake-Off on Friday, March 14 in the Student Life and Technology Center to showcase projects built using the Raspberry Pi learning computer.

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized computer that plugs into a TV and a keyboard. It costs around $35 and can be used in electronics projects and for many of the things that a desktop PC does, such as spreadsheets, word-processing and games. It also plays high-definition video. This is the second year for Hendrix to host the exhibition.

“Last year, we had some 20 projects and about 100 attendees at the event,” said David J. Hinson, executive vice president and chief information officer.
