We’ve been using the #aridea hashtag for almost three years now. It is kind of the de facto hashtag for anything entrepreneurial, technology or startup based.
I see so many different twitter using the hashtag including members of the media.
The bottom line is that makers and creatives along with executives and news media keep their eyes fixed to this hashtag that serves as a hub for all of the activity that is going on in Arkansas.
But, what are really seeing with this hashtag? Are there any numbers surrounding this hashtag.
We are going to be taking a look at the numbers and data as much as possible surrounding some of the most used hashtags in our community of influence and we are starting with #aridea.

The numbers are always interesting. The infographic shows that the hashtag has definitely become a well used tool.

When I’m watching the Hogs play, I use the #wps or #goHogs hashtags and it’s like chatting about the game with other Razorback fans on Twitter. We complain about the calls, the play of the team and the commentators. Oh what fun!

Almost any conference I go to, tech related, there is an official Twitter hashtag. For instance, if you go to a 1 Million Cups Little Rock event, the hashtag being used is #1mclr.
